Studio Tour: Marla Aaron

Next time you have a hankering for some great conversation, a slice of cake (yeah, she made us a cake), and a bounty of the most unique jewels we've seen in a while, head over to Marla's. Mrs. Aaron opened her home studio to us today on a breezy Manhattan morning to discuss her eponymous collection. There were locks and 'cufflings' in brass, silver, and gold...all with a bevy of colored stone options. We left with turquoise and opal options because we, realistically, couldn't fit them all in our purse.  Now, why can't every week start with coffee talk in the garden with Marla?

The Locks that started it all! In every size and color you can imagine....

The hard hook: I love how it turns the locks into a bangle and it is simple and strong.
— Marla

We realize not everyone can barge into her home and pilfer her stock, so you can currently find the collection at Etc.. in Birmingham, AL or here. Thank You, Marla! xx, FFR.
