Jaimie Geller

She's a wife, mother of three – count 'em! – THREE beautiful boys, and owner of her namesake slice of designer jewelry heaven in Pacific Palisades, California. Maid, tutor, chauffeur, or boss...whichever hat Jaimie Geller is wearing, we guarantee it's McQueen.

I’m a diamond girl. Period.

Let’s have dinner at your favorite neighborhood restaurant. Where do we go and what do we eat?

Giorgio Baldi (in Santa Monica). Not just the best restaurant in my ‘hood...I'll say top three for all of LA. Not sure what you'll eat, but I'm having a giant glass of Barolo with a plate of agnolotti with white truffle. Anything with truffle. And the Nutella crepes for dessert.

If you could buy any piece of contemporary jewelry from another jeweler, what would it be?

Well, I carry all different designers in my store and, of course, I think they are the best designers out there. I buy jewelry for myself from all of them.

The vacation spot that you keep going back to over and over?

Maui. My husband and I have been going there since we started dating 16 years ago. I can't say it's the most glamorous place, but it feels like home. And now we bring our three boys there.

What’s the last book you couldn’t put down?

I wish I could say it wasn't so, but with all the kids it's hard to find time to read. Fifty Shades of Grey. Yup. I admitted it out loud. Fifty Shades is the last book I read. [Ed note: While we can't condone it, we applaud her admittance. Jaimie's candor is one of our favorite things about her.]

Secret/favorite spot for cocktails at a trade show (and what’s your go-to drink?)

Don't have a secret or favorite spot. But my go to is champagne. I'm simple and too picky with wine so champagne it is. Unless there's good wine.

The gemstone you’re currently lusting after is . . .

I'm a diamond girl. Period.

You have 30 minutes to work out – what do you do?

Pilates. Doesn't ruin my blow dry.

What was the first piece of jewelry you bought for yourself?

It was a diamond heart necklace from my in-laws’ store, which we eventually bought from them and gutted it . . . and now it's our store. Since we opened our store my first thing I got for myself was my Jacquie Aiche finger bracelet. It made my hand feel sexy.

If you could have dinner with any artist, living or dead, who would it be and why?

Banksy. Explanation too obvious to have to explain.

Take a picture of the most sentimental piece of jewelry you own and tell us the back story.

One is a bracelet by Jemma Wynne with my family’s initials on it. I ordered it right after I had the my third baby. I had been lusting for it but couldn't get it until the baby was born and now I wear it every day. The second is a necklace by Andrea Fohrman. The big round disc says J+M (Jaimie + Michael) and then there are three charms each with the phase of the moon of the night each of my children are born. I always have a special necklace I wear every day, and this is my newest one.

What’s your preferred mode of transportation day-to-day?

My giant GMC Denali. Fits eight adults comfortably. This is my life with three sons...

Top 5 bands in your playlist - go!

My kids honestly dictate any music I am listening to these days, so there's a lot of One Direction and Taylor Swift. But we all love Bob Marley on Pandora! My kids literally ask for the "reggae-mon" Pandora station to go to bed.

You’re having guests for the weekend. What’s your signature dish that you cook for them?

Lately, it's Lamb chops, green beans and mashed potatoes.

If you could only carry one handbag for the rest of your life, what would it be?

A Birkin. Not too original but don't think i could ever get sick of it and you said the rest of my life.

What’s your signature scent and what three words would you use to describe it?

An oil called 1509. Clean, fresh, sweet. I mix it in my Jergens lotion every morning. And there isn't a day that goes by that someone doesn't compliment how I smell. I honestly don't smell it anymore. (By the way, we sell it at my store, and people comment everyday that the store smells so good too.)

If you could sit front row at any fashion show, which would it be and why?

Isabel Marant. Because I actually buy and wear the clothes. And Alexander McQueen because it's so dramatic and over the top and I wouldn't ever wear the clothes. Ooh! Or Chanel because Karl seems to always make a major spectacle.

Tell us your beauty secrets (think: can’t-live-without makeup and skincare)

My facialist - Vanessa Hernandez. That's all you need to know. I hate makeup and she makes it possible that I don't have to wear it everyday. And I can't live without eyelash extensions... Sarah Maxwell does mine. Life changer. Oh and if I do need to go somewhere I feel I need to wear makeup- Kerri Malouf does my makeup because I'm very makeup application challenged.

Signature nail polish and/or lipstick shade for a night on the town?

Nail polish - I have 5 flavors. Ballet Slippers, Smoking Hot, Merino Cool, Malaga Wine and Chinchilly.
